Kokomo Area Creation Care, an affiliate of Hoosier Interfaith Power and Light, will host Jen Rankin, Executive Director of the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District, as guest speaker at our meeting on Thursday, May 9, at 7:00 p.m.  Her presentation is titled, E-waste, the Fastest Growing Waste Stream. We’ll learn what comprises electronic waste, or e-waste, and the problems and solutions of how to safely dispose of it, keeping its dangerous chemicals and compounds out of landfills.

The meeting will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 3401 S. Dixon Road, Kokomo, at 7:00 p.m.  Light refreshments and fellowship begin at 6:45 pm.

Our group provides programs that focus on making better use of our resources and improving the health and well-being of humans, animals, plants and ecosystems comprising Creation.  We welcome all individuals and faith communities.
