Kokomo Area Creation Care will meet on Thursday, May 13th at 7 PM at Christ Lutheran Church, located at 3401 S. Dixon Rd.

The featured program will be given by Russ Hawkins, a photographer who has been taking pictures of wildlife and travel since 1979. He loves the outdoors and aspires to capture wildlife in its natural habitat through his photography. In 2011, he discovered an eagle’s nest near his home in Burlington. Since then, he’s spent many hours documenting life in the nest. He enjoys taking and sharing these pictures with others who don’t have the time or opportunity to experience these beautiful birds.  He says that he goes outdoors “to  calm my heart and mind and  find my soul.”

We welcome people of all faiths and individuals. Come and share our fellowship as we enjoy nearby wildlife and learn how to be better stewards of our Earth. We will be observing COVID-19 restrictions, so light refreshments will not be provided; however, feel free to bring your own.
